As summer ends I cant help but think of the great things our family did together this summer. Starting in May, with the thanks to my parents, we took the boys to Disney Land for the first time. What a great trip that was, Pirates of the Caribbean never gets old.
In July we went back to Monte Vista for my 10 year high school reunion. Elyse and I had more fun than we expected. The setting for my reunion was very different from Elyse's reunion last year. Her dinner was held in Folsom field luxury boxes on the CU campus. Mine was held at the Monte Vista Elks club in the bingo room. Although my reunions setting was lacking the Mexican food was amazing.
Our last trip of the summer was to a cabin outside of Gunnison with the Lamb family (Elyse's afmily). The boys loved being in the mountains, building huge fires and it was great seeing Johnny (Elyse's brother from New York).
We are very grateful for the fun we had and look forward to our adventures as a family next summer.
